Why care so much to the point of all consuming thoughts about your investments and your money? Either stressing about it or rejoicing over it so much, yet it is temporary treasure in comparison to the eternal treasures in heaven.
Nobody seems to think about their eternal investment for the afterlife, or consider the riches in heaven that are repercussions of your walk here on this earth. Your heart has to be in the right place.
We do need money for everyday life, plus to make money you have to spend money. Investments are wise, but so are the eternal ones and should not be discredited. One is short term and the other long term. Eternally long term, and those terms cannot be voided or switched.
What will happen to your spiritual investments here on earth after you pass? Think about it…where are you sowing your seed? Are you honouring God? Are you trusting God? Are you walking with Him? What are you doing to secure your future investment for your spirit since your soul will surely die?
Matthew 6:19-21
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and ALL these things will be given to you as well.
